Hi Guys
I always want a fly to immitate more than one thing.
The Tännäs Special is named after a famous fishing spot in the swedish mountains known for its big grayling
and trout. In these waters there are loads of big caddis, big mayflies and loads of small fish like sculpins and minnows.
Ten years ago I got tired of changing fly all the time and tied these ones up for the first time, they dont immitate nothing and everything.
It has to be heavy also since its mainly pocket fishing and therefor the dubble beads. Its the only fly i would need to survive at these water for a couple of weaks, would be sweet to know if they work in NZ also. I will try them out this summer in your back country as the
heavy part of two team rig.
This one of my flies that are commercely availble and they are
selling good numbers of this one here in Scandinavia so it seems
like it works for more people than myself and the mates.
Best Regards
