2 duck shooting dams? Good or Bad..

Hello, we have a situation where normally the main dam is dry, so we built a new dam. With recent rain now both dams are full. They are about 50m apart and only intend to sit on one dam for opening. Do we blow one dam, or leave them both? Maimais are on both dams. We will only feed one dam. Any recommendations? Thanks.
