Remington 700 stainless .270

Only catch is... it has no bolt. That's another story.

When I lost the bolt I did the only thing I could and bought the exact same rifle again.

What's it worth with no bolt?
What's the cost of a new bolt?
What's a man to do?

About the same as a man without his pride and joy, or a boat without a rudder, or a cow without a udder, spare parts only.
So you have a barrel, an action, a few screws, a stock, together they are worth stuff all, separate they have a value.
I would keep it if I could, put it in your swap box.

Go talk to a good gunsmith first and foremost and see if it can be done - I believe it can.
Contact Remington and see if they have them, price etc. thereís also online auctions in the states - your biggest issue is to get it back to NZ - thatís where the fun begins. Talk to local armouries or gunsmiths to see if thereís one available.
Once and if you get one then youíll need a gunsmith to true it and correct t headspace etc.
