Below ''The Whalesback''. The so called ''old mans beard'' flowing over the tops from the East.



We have shot 3500 Wallaby's in this general area in the last 7 months. Quite a few forum members contributed to this effort. It will continue for them as soon as the Lockdown is finished. Every tool in the toolbox is being thrown at them. I guesstimate that there will be another 3000 at least to lower our numbers to level 2, and it never stops as the neighbors are infested too. Time to get hard on them.

Mmmm... dam I love that country.  If you need more shooters on the ground after lockdown, our team would be very keen. Were shooting in Waimate/Haka valley area but our wallaby blocks shot right down. Mike

Yes love exploring that country. Whether its a club 4x4 trip, shooting, or just wandering on a day and catching photos. Great pleasure to go there... and nailing heaps of bunnies or wallabies is a real added bonus.

I have been asked how Imgur works.. and which image code one needs to copy and paste from it to your post on the forum. Anyone who previously used Photobucket can use this because the process is EXACTLY the same. It just looks a bit different in the cosmetics. Once you are familiar with it it takes about 20 seconds to place a picture into anything you post to the forum.

How to do it

When you have signed up to Imgur and have the program on your screen you will see top left a Green Button that says New Post click on that.


A box will open up which allows you to choose a pic from your computer and upload it to the Imgur program which also then generates a BB Code for you. Choose which image you want from your computer. Use the Choose Photo/Video option. A new screen will open from your computer, for Windows users it will be explorer and and you can navigate to the pic you want and choose and ''open or upload'' it.


The picture you have chosen to upload will appear on your screen inside the ''Ingur'' program.  Scroll your mouse over the picture and in the top right hand corner of the picture two small boxs side by side will appear.  The left had box says '' copy link'' Ignore that left hand box.. The right hand and smaller box says nothing except that it has 3 dots in the bottom of it. This is the one you want. click on that box with you mouse and a drop down menu will appear with four choices. Click on choice 2. ''Get share links''

When your click on Get share links the box below will appear. Your almost there.

Choose this option ''copy''BB Code (message boards and forums).   

Nothing else will work.




Voila Copy and paste this link into your post you are writing on the forum.  Below an example of the wonderful clarity obtained by using Imgur as your storage place and BB Code generator.
