I have a spare head skin that l have salted a number of times, l am going to put in the freezer, do l remove the salt from the last salting the skin is quite dry now or just put in the freezer with the salt still on it

The salt prevents the skin from freezing properly which causes hair slip if left in the freezer too long.
May pay to talk to a taxidermist and get it tanned rather than freeze.
I have always salted the skin once then freeze it for a few weeks before tanning but was advised against it due to difficulty in freezing properly.
Sounds like your skin is quite cured if it is dry.

Just got to keep on chipping away!
