Christ Kiwi Greg what are you going to do with that? Shoot Buffalo at 1000 yards. Whats the B.C on that projectile? I'd like to run it through my computer.

The guy's in the states have shot 2500-3000 yards sub moa. One has shot Mule deer at 2000 plus 3 times one shot kills, but it would take quite a while to get there so who knows how quick they died. But they are legends & I'm just a Kiwi boy with a home made rifle.
Some of the advertised BC's are not necessarily the true BC. The factory rounds have a "BC" of .9 ish but the BORS unit uses .73, so a bit of a difference there. 435gr "1.058" brass 420gr ".95" brass 416gr ".93" brass 410gr .81 jacketed 400gr .392 TSX I haven't shot enough long range yet to check the BC's but I have shot the TSX to 750 & the BC was about bang on. But man do they slooow down quick & fall out of the sky , they suck for long range duty Thats probably because they are cheap, easy to get & they shoot well under moa in my rifle The brass ones are most likely no good on animals unless you hit a substantial bone. They just pencil through much like an arrow with a target tip I've been told, buy a guy in the states.
Its funny, I've it had up at a public range a bit lately and the usual response starts with F followed closly by a few more once I fire it.
Wow a 416 Barret...now I thought a 338 Lapua was a freakn canon and a half. I've set my sights on something a whole lot smaller. I'm having a lightweight 6mmBR built on a Remington Model 7 action for longish range small game busting as we speak.
Long range rifles. Why run you'll only die tired.

Didnt they have the Navy seal hero shooting one on future weapons? Dont think it was a barret system but he was grouping well on a target 2500m away the size of a laptop.

.223 Ackley being built and 6.5x47 Lapua on the agenda
Are you just reaming the rem or doing more
Action trued/new 1:8 barrel and figured since I handload there was no reason not to go AI for another few FPS and a cooler looking case
I haven't regreted the AI at all and to date are up around the sixth fire and getting to the stage for a FL size to bump the shoulder back and at full length so will need a trim soon and these are with hot loads
The 22-250 used to have trim the length every or every second fire when using the hot loads...
1:8 twist be able to run some high bc pills with that
