Well, today was a good day and a bad day... Bad in that my shotgun stopped working (It's only just over a year old - I think a spring in the trigger mechanism is stuffed) after only firing about 3 shots this morning (all at pooks and missed the bloody lot!), but good as per below:
I had the .22 with me and knew that these domestics were hanging around a pond and the farmer wanted them shot, so I wilfully obliged... Plan on mixing them in with the ducks I shot this season in Salamis...
I'm gonna fear God, love my neighbour, and hunt ducks.

Those buggers should be tasty Timbo... I reckon Salamis would be a waste, roast them up!
I needed something more to add to the duck that I've got in the freezer, coz I didn't shoot enough during duck shooting! Don't worry, there's plenty more where they came from! The flock is about 30-40 strong, so I could probably shoot a few every 3 months and I'm sure they would maintain the flock...

Further to this, I took the 11-87 into Hunting and Fishing today, and they are going to give it to the Remington rep to sort out.... I'm waiting with baited breath.... Want my baby back so I can go and shoot some Canadas!

Well, I got my baby back from the shop last week, and the rep had sorted it out and put a box of rounds through it (Didn't clean it afterwards mind you...).
He found what the problem was - Someone had put the piston ring on round the wrong way...
