Im not game to look.....its a seesaw with public water,I get all uptight watching water levels on line in weeks leading up to D-Day..... if it drops too much we sitting in mud,if its full we sit under trees and have easy time of it,if its down 5mtrs we can JUST get away with edge of trees....every year is different, think we have had full dam 3-4times in 25 years.....

Were lucky to have a fish and game pond never dry. But the level is way down in the swamp early days yet. Last year we had people trying to walk in off the banks. Idiots a easy way to have a serious incident. With not being able to see in the dark. People think 90m is like 50m un believable.

Good rain in the Wairarapa over last 24 hours. That will help.

Makes me wonder if this is permanent now or just a phenomenon
