Going to our camp tonight, bow season for whitetail opens in the morning. Have been getting pictures of two nice bucks and a few does at my feeders mostly at one AM in the morning but several at first light. One a few weeks back of a huge bear laying down eating the corn and apples. On a second note my son and spouse gave me an early birthday gift last week. Turn 70 Oct. 21st they bought me a new 750 suzuki quad for hunting and fishing will make getting in and out a lot more fun. Everyone stay safe and wish you all good hunting. Cheers.

To shoot straight you need a target. Six days have not seen one deer. A few on camera 1 to 2 in the morning. Had a friend out he went to his stand at 4pm and had a pair of fawns for twenty minutes feeding below him but fawns are for the last week of the hunt not the first. Owell back out for another 3 days next week.

Well gun season opens this Monday, about 15  days of bow hunting and saw only one deer during daylight hours and I did not shoot straight. It kept walking. I have two good bucks a doe and two fawns on camera consistently at night at three baited spots at stands also two bears which like peanut butter smeared on trees. We will see what happens in next two weeks. Cheers everyone.

My gun hunt is over spent 10 days at camp in the past 2 weeks saw one more deer and the bear twice. Calling it quits for the year will see what happens next year unfortunately I only could shoot bucks as I did not get an antlerless dear tag in our draw. First time in 30 years that I did not get one and only the 3rd year I have not harvested a deer. Better luck for all of you.
