Hi guys just playing around with starting to reload. I was looking at a light load 130gr or less and wondering bow well it would work in my 1:9.5 20" barrel. Also what powder would be good, 2206, 2206h or 2208 (i thought it might be a little slow for a faster projectile).
Also will 2206h work with the heavier pills like 180 gr?

Check out the ADI website for powder loads for the .308

http://www.adi-powders.com.au/rifle/

As for projectiles look at a 150 gr Remington Cor-Lokt as a lethal projectile which never gets complained about.

Sierra make a nice 135 gr HP projectile which I've used and was good on Fallow and goats but never tested them on Reds.

It really depends on what your wanting to achieve... bush hunting or longer range as you can get 150 gr round nose / flat nose... or heavier 168 gr projectiles with high BC
