Spring Sika blocks

Hi there all. Just wondering if anyone might mind suggesting any of the fly in sika blocks with open tops hunting during the spring. We have done it once before, and it was very disappointing. We didn't pick a good block for the time of year. We are hoping to get a better block this time, that might hold a few deer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

First step is to pick 'spring-time' correctly.

In the 'tops' blocks that's early December in my experience.
