	one for all you f/g rangers on here just finally looked at the f/g mag , it was not a need to get to excited this year is it legal to use lead 28 gauge sub gauge on public land over water eg harbor river , etc or is it not and must be non toxic i know its not on f/g reserves and conservation, doc lands

	According to Fish and Game's page on non-toxic shot, you are KIND OF good to go this year, but not next. Can't use on DOC controlled land, for instance. (have a read on the F&G page) Further edit: Actually, you already said this above. Sorry - working and internetting at the same time.

	thank u BTMO , yes i had a look there to me its not saying a hell of a lot on the subject will have to find out more , cant get non toxic 28 bore in this town and its got 3 gun shops all wanton to sell ya a 12 bore rough saw green 4x4

	Same boat here for my 28ga, just have to let any ducks fly away if one fly past when out quail hunting now I guess

	I have English Pointers because they don't ever grow up either..

	ok just just picked up a full seasons licence ( got to support fish game this year ) the booklet is telling ME lead sub gauge is OK for hunting public water ways just no no ,on f/game and conservation lands so sweet as
