Just wondering if anyone has been playing with the Hornady Sub-X in their .308 during the lockdown.
Any results etc there must be a heap of reloading going on with all the time on peopleís hands.

Not yet, I have a box and its on my to-do list along with a lot of other stuff!
They are just under 1.3 inches long so quite likely won't stabilise in my 1:12 twist 308 or 30-30 but will be fine in the 1:8 308.
8 grains of Trailboss is subsonic in my 1:8rifle with 151gr cast bullets, I expect it won't be too much different with the 190gr Sub-X

I got a box but had to go to sea so another month to wait, be interested to see how you get on & what they are like on animals. I havenít loaded subs before so keen to have a play, my rifle is 1:10 so should be fine.
