Hey team, looking at taking my 8 year old out for a bowhunt this week, I usually go up wairere falls track but that just about killed him last time. Still new to hunting so any advice on any areas from Auckland to Rotorua I could take him where he could enjoy it a bit more? Cheers.

Go further south to Te Tuhi Road About 15 min south of Wairere Falls - itís still a bit of a limb but the Bush isnít too bad for walking and about 3 hrs in with a kid you can stay at Mungamuka hut. South from Te Tuhi PM me if you need more info
