Hey guys,

Myself and a party of 4 have mount Tanilba period 2.

If anyone has any info on the block / campsites / any ridges that are better for accessing tops etc would be much appreciated.

DM if itís easier.

Also if you are the party of 2 sharing the block with us would be good to touch base.

Cheers

Hamish

Great block and over looked by most. This is a block where you can do it easy or hard 3in the mid valley camp site which is really well set up ( for fiordland) from here you can hit the tops on the true right. Not many exit points from the top end to the valley when weather kicks in and in revese if you luck the weather and it's hot they where low when we had it.

We based ourselves at 3 duck lake. Which gave us access to virtually the whole block.
I wished wed taken a pack raft or similar to get across the lake which would have given us quick access to above Lesley clearings.
Otherwise its a big hike to get there.
Two thumb bay would be worth a visit.
One of our tean shot a ten inch cham  in there.

Its the nut behind the butt, that counts.
