OSPRI - 1080 Kaimanawa RHA again

I know as a moderator Iím supposed to be moderate.
But based on information before me from Taupo DA it appears OSPRI  want to conduct aerial 1080 operations throughout the Kaimanawa RHA again after 3 years. It appears that they are looking to re apply 1080 in 2020 and the usual tripe is being forwarded about possum and Tb vector control.
Iím against aerial application and I was involved post operation last time with Another member from the forum as well as Cathy White from Waikato District Council doing Bait counts etc and in my humble opinion the applicant didnít give a hoot about the rules, we found plenty of baits in waterways that fed into Taupo, it was all over The old mill camp site and Te Iringa camp site and track. DOC had made no effort to clean up which is part the contractual obligations and the Cheif Medical Officer was of no use at all.
What Taupo DA have asked is timings, and weather Repellent will be used and base this on the ongoing Whio and hut work they are doing with Sika Foundation and DOC
Be aware that OSPRI donít have to answer to any group.
Itís your larder, we should be writing to back NZDA up against another round of poison in a well hunted and precious resource.

What a joke, why don't the da and sf pick up a pair of balls and challenge this if they are organisations really for hunters?, Ill tell ya why its because senior members/inner circle actually support 1080, Theres been a dude on the da stand at the sika show promoting 1080 for years and then there's the treasure of the sf on national news supporting the whole "predator free 2050" propaganda machine who has actually spoken at nzda club nights supporting the use of 1080, (heard it with my own ears), nzda will do nothing and the sf are right up docs ass so expect nothing from them apart from political jargon. The whole set up at the sika show says it all.

Where do they get off putting it all over a public campsite?
Are they above the law? Surely there must be a degree of criminality in that.

At a minimum the park should be closed until all baits are removed from tracks etc, and ideally not reopened until a significant amount of the poison has been leached from the baits.
Thatís what they do up here, so it can be done there too.
