Crossing the Landsborough

Afternoon All,

Does anyone have experience crossing the Landsborough River above Kea Flat?

I'd be interested in hearing about any specific crossing points and / or tactics employed to ensure the crossing was safe

Cheers

yes i have but that was 50 yrs ago,,just practise good common sense,,easiest way is two together to support,,ie,one goes then the other anchors etc,,bit cold in the winter tho as it takes longer to cross

It is much better to Hit the Animal in the right place, with a Rifle you can shoot well, then to hit it poorly with a Large Calibre..John Nosler

we crossed it just above toe toe flat after a fine week, only came up mid thigh, It was a reasonable flow though and you had to be bloody careful

Thanks for the comments.

To be honest we're on the fence about heading up there now, the whole valley is supposed to be 1080'd soon.
