Kaboomfa....Take Les with you...He is one of the best bush hunters i have ever met / been with. He spent a long time in the Te Ureweras.

Just bring someone with you to look after his horses.     Cheesy

Find the sign and then slow down and slow down some more. In the bush animals love to hid out in tight scrubby gully heads during the day. Donít be  afraid to stop and listen, they can be quite noisey as they move around in close quarters. They are very crafty and often one step ahead of you so be prepared for a quick shot in the bush (always id target of course). If they whistle at you it is often too late - Iím always surprised where they pop up when least expected. Always lots of fun to hunt...just be patient. Good luck. Cheesy

find a good spot for them to feed on, place a transitor radio in the clearing under a bit of fern, make sure it's tuned between stations and volume is very low so it just very lightly crackles, then move off, sit down wind and wait.

Sika are the most inquisitive deer, they will watch you come in, watch you leave, but eventually they will go and suss out that radio, they cant help themselves and Kaboomfa

Your welcome lol
