Good evening: Looking for loads for a  Majestic. 243 particularly with the Sierra 85 hpbt. I like W760/H414 but that's not a lock in, projectile is though.
Cheers Jeff

2209. That powder was made in heaven for the 243. 44gr or 45gr. Go bang the stags. This load for the 85gr Sierra. Graeme Sturgeon used this pill for his meat recovery on Mangaohane. Ours out of a 75 and T3.

The 85 g Sierra is a good bullet and 2209 is the powder I use for all my .243ing.

If you want another good bullet, the 95 grain ballistic tip is a good one.

Started off using Winchester 80 grain for switched to Speer 90 grain when I started reloading. Good loads and the projectile did the job very well
