Hey guys just want your input, what braid size do most of you use? Just purchased some 12lb for the overhead instead of the rope that was on the reel.
Mostly fishing the farms etc some reef stuff for the tarakihi. Enough breaking strain?

Only one way to find out. Braid is thinner than mono so you can go a bit heavier. I've always used 15kg mono so I spooled my new overhead with 30 pound braid. Haven't got it wet yet though. Grin
I'd use the lighter stuff for softbaiting.
