Do you have your FAL?
If you're like the current government have a look at trademe. Pop into your local gunshop and they will be able to help you out.

Without good mates the "great outdoors" is simply the "big outside"

It's most definitely not an MSSA.† Unfortunately though, as per the recent act, it's a rimfire rifle of 22 cal which has a magazine which will hold greater than 10 rounds. The FN (Browning)Trombone will hold 11 Rounds of 22 LR ammo. So, bad news there.

Do not trim the tube . Get a reputable gunsmith the fit a spacer to the inside of the inner tube . Reduces the capacity without destroying the looks or value of the rifle. Simple job.

I would also do nothing to mag and wait and see what the government will offer you. It maybe more $$$ offered than what you would get flogging it off on TM with the mag mod, that's of course you intend on selling soon.

Think your air rifle will be a Telly, not a "Jelly"
Had one when I was a kid - had all the neighbours freaking out but at least the Sparrow and Starling population was in decline!!
