Morning all

Have any of you seen non toxic 28 gauge ammo, in your neck of the woods? I have seen 20 gauge but that's it.

hmmmmmm and therein lies the fly in the ointment.....
no I havent.....if you want to go to trouble to import shot you can make up loads that are BETTER THAN LEAD.... the super heavy non toxics are mindblowing guys shooting geese with #8 or #9 at reasonable range according to the figures etc
lostknife over on duckchat forum will be able to steer you in right direction if you go down that path....pity reloaders supplies wont to a big order....surely it wouldnt take long to sell off a ton in 5kg lots...I would buy some even if it was to use in .12ga.

Yeah had looked at reloading, but some of the retailers seem to think some will show up next season, time will tell I suppose.

Yes we do, Eley makes Bismuth and the local shop said the Eley salesman was turning up this week so hopefully have arranged some. They would be doing subgauge users a disservice if they didn't get any in, there are more of us than you think.

defiantly with the amount of ammo i use on water fowl , and non toxic where i have to   i would buy a box  of 28 gauge ,bismuth , maybe 2 , as i for one  am totally sold on and love the 28 bore  Smiley

i would even be tempted to buy some steel  if the load and speed where right

Yes agree mate, I have fallen in love with the 28 gauge. I would quite happily buy a slab if it meant I could get some.
