Hi guys, just bought myself a second hand .308 sako 75.
wanting to load 150 grain pills for it.
Any one got a staring point for me?
I was thinking 2208 powder and got some moly coated bt's.

look in your manual...always safest,and even if someone DOES give you load data.....double,triple check it against said manual......every rifle is different,what is safe n mild in mine could blow yours up.
if dont have/own a manual
load data is available online from heaps of places...ADI Hornady to name just two.
www.huntingnut   has a reloading database found in the sidebar on top left of main page...heaps of loads in there but again you should cross check them with a manual.

sheers mate, I guess I was being a bit cheeky, hoping for a short cut. I always check against the book. Just seeing if there is a specific bullet these guns like.

45g 2206h with 150g interlock or corlokt bullets set at 2.8col  go well in my sako A7,mine is short barrel,suppressed though.

My 75. 308 has always liked whatever I've put through it, get 1/4" groups with 130ttsx

Start around 44. Load should end up around 46-47 for a 150 gn pill with 2208 for 2850 fps
