Have been reloading for about a year now so no expert by any means. But thought a few guys might like to see the vid. No wind apart from a katabatic which made things a lot easier. Couldnt get closer so decided to set up at 825. Have done plenty of practice at the range and on rocks in the alpine. First animal for the new rifle - 7mm Rem Mag with 180g ELDm doing 2900. Old 9 point red stag.

Shot sir, over and out. Far too long a range for a bush hobbit.    Smiley

Get as close as you can, then get a bit closer.

Shoot a few rocks at distance next time you are out. If you have your drop chart sorted and the conditions are right you'll be surprised how far you can push it. Very capable on the animals to!

Bloody well done, not just on the shot but the process and trying of being able to make it.
