Excellent new series mate, the wifes even watching it with me now.

Most of us appreciate the hard work and effort required to produce such an outstanding program.

She  remarked at last nights episode about now realizing how fit you should be to enjoy such magnificent places and I enjoyed explaining the little things she spotted, like what the orange triangles on the trees were etc, the small things we take for granted.
May you keep doing what your passionate about for many more years to come Greg, I envy your physical ability to keep doing it.

I missed the first but did watch last night's show and enjoyed it very much.
I enjoy the tramping and the scenery, what many of you would call the 'averageness' of it all - but I can relate to all that.
To me that was 'reality' hunting with good results.

I also enjoyed the 'product' aspect - I seldom go into an Outdoor shop and this 'show' keeps me up to date with what is on the shelves today.

I also admire Greg's physical ability - he looks like he's a hundred years old and while I have a strong suspicion that huge pack of his is full of helium balloons you still got to give him kudos.

Good show guys  Wink

The first show was on 4 times all together , this one is on twice more , once on TV1 and once on Duke .
I hope the guys get paid for each showing  Wink

Don't think so, Rowan, plenty left in him. Theyre all fit bastds. And those packs ARE heavy.

Its great Kiwi stuff that would appeal anywhere in the world. And a nice subtle blend of earthy and sophisticated. I enjoyed last night's episode a lot. These are talented people who are smart enough to relate at all levels.

I nearly fell of my chair though when I heard "quick, get the .270".

It seems to be difficult to please everyone

Just fly in, (or quad bike) spot the trophy, shoot and fly home again just isn't worth watching, IMO

Hunting is about experiencing the wilderness first, and killing stuff second. Getting there and back is just as much  part of hunting, as stalking animals is

This is the only show that does that almost exclusively. And shows out backcountry at its best, and worst.

I'm not a climber, but like the alpine bits. It shows more on the wilderness we hunt in.

Showing sponsors products is one of the compromises that have to be made. Otherwise, its no show

Personally, BC meals taste like crap Smiley

It is actually on 3 more times , all on the 24th .
TV1 at 14.55 hrs and of course immediately repeated on TV1+1 at 15.55 hrs ,
then again on Bravo at 22.25hrs.

Yep I'd much rather watch hunting shows going deep into the back country, the likes of hunting aotearoa shows don't quite do it for me.
