Slider lures hook sizes?

Anyone had issues pulling hooks when using sliders. Those really little hooks seem to pull out a bit too easy. Can we change them for bigger ones or will that co*k up the lure action. All answers welcome.

Hey mate, that style of lure generally works best with the same size hooks that they come with. If you are pulling hooks often, it could be a few things... there are specialist rods made specifically for these types of lures, long, flexible and very sensitive rods, they help to always keep sufficient tension on the line, stiffer rods can cause hook pulls.
Too much drag can also have a similar effect. A few things to think about for you?

Yeah ..Thought those thoughts too...Its actually the missus s problem..using mono but she can get a bit aggressive at times. Changed to the Ocean Angler sliders. Seem to be not so delicate.....and look at that!! no more pulled hooks!!
