4x. Can't remember reticle designation... CPC or something similar... cross hair that thins towards centre anyway. If you're prepared to take a punt I'll courier it to you... either put the $150 in my account or courier it back after you've checked it out. Cheers-Graham.

Good wee scope... I have the 4x fitted to a Sako .222 which suits it to a tee.

Did you get one Micky?

My first scope was a M8 from some time last century from a bloke who was too old to go hunting.  I broke it and then Leupold was kind enough to replace it with a FX3 4 power.  They were both great scopes but the coatings on the FX3 were much much better...  All my early hunting was with a 4 power, you can kill anything on this planet with a 4 power.

This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine.  Without my rifle I am useless, without me it is useless.

Hi Guys, I was packaging the leupy to send to Mike last night. I checked the objective to ensure it was a M8... yes it is... but a 6x. Sorry to have wasted the time of those who have contacted me. Cheers-Graham.

6x is a great scope.  I have one of those as well (FX3 model).  It's slightly worse for close range bush hunting (can't focus as close) but I think in general a better all rounder for where I hunt (canterbury).  Ignoring coating at the moment it's the brightest scope leupold make because it doesn't have the extra lens in it that all vari powers need.
