80 series cruiser aircon has stopped working. Any recommendations to get it serviced in Christchurch?

Hi J,
My air con in patrol died 2 yrs ago,took it to Peter Munro,Christchurch.They checked,compresser and clutch switch,all seized up.Sent whole unit to Auckland,fully reconditioned unit,2 yr warranty and $1200 later,works great.New compresser x Japan $3000,bugger that.
  

Shot a few deer,caugth some big trout and salmon

Check fuse in main fuse board.Check lecks and regas cost about $150-$200. Compresser stuffed,forget it if truck yr mountain river run about.

Second hand parts are always an option. Diagnosis needs to be good though. Often i can get parts at a reasonable price even new. It does depend on make and model though. Pm me if you want. Cheers.  Wink
