Has anyone bought or have any first hand experience with the T1X rimfire?
Only what I am reading on overseas forums. Mixed reports on accuracy and that is with the 17HMR. Only just becoming available in Europe, USA, Canada, Australia. No reports yet on 22rf peformance - they don't appear to be available yet.
Last report I got from a Dorkland gunshop was T1x not likely to be here b4 Christmas but that may be wrong now that they seem to be filtering thru to the above countries albeit not at the numbers to match pre-orders.
I gave up waiting (also wasn't prepared to stump up a pre-payment) and went Lithgow. Happy as.
H&F here in Blenheim got one in and sold it before I could look at it , I am sure that if it is a Tikka it will shoot ok , my Sakos rimfires probably have the same barrels and I can't fault them .
Shooting is the most fun you can legally have with your clothes on . Proverbs 12:27 The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

Thanks for the replies. Thats where its at all right 6.5 for how much there is on the internet there is very little on how well they shoot. In that link the groups are disappointing especially for a .17. But to be fair there are a few shots that it is hard to tell if it is the shooter, ammo or rifle. One review I found had a .22 shooting 45mm groups at a 100 metres, that is probably going a little far the other way . It didn't say what ammo except it was standard velocity. Do Lithgow make a synthetic stock?
Hopefully it was someone on the forum Flintlock and they will tell us what they think of it.
When did I realise I was God? While I was praying I realised I was talking to myself.

The first shipment of T1X in .17HMR is due by the end of this month- but they will still be thin on the ground for quite awhile. The first shipment will probably all be consumed by pre-orders.
None that have come into the country have been sold. A couple went down the line for test firing in an upcoming catalogue (very positive test fire BTW), but none are in the hands of any end users. None have gone to any retailer to be sold.
You can view it at the Sika Show next week I would post some images for you but I don't have 5 posts yet

The release of the .22RF version has become a fiasco with many UK and US buyers still without the gun after many months of partial or full deposits. No-one on the forum has managed to get theirs yet.
There's a long thread on the UKV forum on this exact topic.
.22LR has not started shipping from the factory as yet. Orders for .17HMR will be filled before manufacture of the .22lr begins. We wont see any .22LR here till next year.

Yes I agree, no one likes setting an expectation then not being able to meet it due to factors you can't control. Shipment for stock is due in any day now, so the wait is pretty much over. .17HMR should be in the hands of end users within a week or so I have 5 posts now so here are some T1X images
