Tying for the Mohaka

I was lucky enough to get a few hours on the Mohaka a week or so back.
The river was VERY high and coloured, but fishable.
HEAPS of debris in the fishy lies and I went to grab my flies form submerged branch and this guy jumped aboard.

The photo was so clear i thought I'd try and tie him up with my minimalist ingredients (only 4 excl hook)
Happy just to post this to be enjoyed, as its always quiet over this part of the forum.

2 rainbows and 2 browns for a couple of hours was pretty good going for me, considering I was supposed to be working.

Alan, I am honored sir.  Cool

However they have not yet been cast at a fish

My mentor John Boy from Napier is attempting to better them. and he will.
