I've got a couple of old machetes which I might give a similar treatment. First step for me if to have a look at some different wood to see what I want to use for the handle. Got some plum, walnut and ash, so will sand a bit of each and see how the grain and colour looks.

Walnut very good for gun stocks, makes for nice grain patterns.
  

Shot a few deer,caugth some big trout and salmon

I used to look for a video on how to restore a machete, but accidentally came across an ad for real cash bonuses at Tropez casino http://www.realmoneybonus.co.nz/casino-tropez-real-money-bonus.html. I clicked on the link and was pleasantly surprised, I was immediately given bonus money for registration that I could start playing with.
