Hi just wanted to know what everyoneís views were on fibreglass v laminated stocks proís & conís of each.
Iíve got a M700 tac in .308 with the hogue over mould stock.
I just want to stiffen it up a bit at the moe Iím thinking Iíll go with the glass.

you could go down path of using stock stabalizing kit and save yourself some coin........ easy to use if its anything like the bedding kits Nathan puts out. as for the other two.....plywood all the way Wink

Fiberglass generally = lighter and impervious to the elements. It wont contract or expand with heat or moisture. It can be very stiff, or not so stiff depending on its construction.

Laminate = heavier and also resistant to heat / moisture.

I would personally take a well made fiberglass stock over a laminate stock for a hunting rig. I would consider a laminate stock over a fiberglass stock for a more target orientated rifle.
