Transducer mounting and beach launching

Hi Fellas,
I upgraded to a slightly bigger tinny (Stabi 383 Pontoon) and while at it also installed one of these shiny fishfinder/scanner numbers (Lowrance Hook 2 triple shot).
Turns out the transducer is pretty long. Me thinks long enough to get in the way of launching the little Stabi at a shallow beach (and getting it back on the trailer). As the angle of the boat putting it in/out of water would no doubt be steep enough to "bend" the transducer. So far, launched only at ramps and this does of course not create a problem.
Anyone come across the same problem and came up with a bright solution to either:

- have a "quick release and re-attach"
or
- being able to fold it back vertically against the boat and fold it back down again then in deeper water† ???
Cheers in advance

A Gopro mount works a charm on my creek tinny.

Hi Team,
I ended up putting a transducer slide on the boat. It is mounted so that I can slide the transducer off altogether when launching the boat. So far, so good.
