Lend rifle to USA visiting hunter?

Can anyone point me in the right direction for this - Got a Texan mate keen to visit for a public land hunt.  I said I can lend him all of the fishing and hunting gear he will need.  But - if he has a USA firearms permit, where do I stand, can I do this?
Thanks

it would be best to ask local coppers rather than us. at end of day its your FAL thats at risk if you get wrong info......nothing to stop him using them in your company.
the other issue that might pop up is storage if they travelling around....eg where is rifle while they fishing.

Most local coppers won't have the foggiest - I recently had to help a local fill in his section of an S43a. Best to contact and discuss with an Arms Officer and even then you might get diverse "opinions".

get him to get a visitors firearms permit at the airport on the way in no problems then, he just needs to apply for it before he comes, on line.

Thanks guys, sure enough a simple google showed that it is easy enough to get a visitors permit and a license to import, as long as you can show Police that you are authorised to use firearms in your country.  Interesting that for USA people, where firearms licenses are not issued, they need to show evidence of being trained in forearms safety, such as a hunting permit.
