Need to get an idea  of what one of these would be worth for a property settlement, any ideas? Also comes with rings and a Nikko Stirling targetmaster scope (6-24 power I think).
Cheers

in the context of a settlement, it depends whether you are cashing up under duress or purchasing...

Probably selling.  I would love to buy it off the other party but I don't really have a need for it.
I have found a couple of listing on US sites starting at $700usd.

You can't go on US prices. Their std guns are way cheaper than here but older/fancier models are unpredictable- some more and some less than you'd expect.

I once sold a (std size barrel) 541T in mint condition. Can't recall exactly but think I got about $700 for it

Hiya, I'd pay $1k for it once I'd established that the barrel was as pristine inside as the rifle apparently is on the outside. Cheers-Graham (0220815916)

There was one on TM a while back listed several times at $900, which I didn't think was too bad, I don't think it got sold (at that anyway).  I hankered after one a while ago but would be more in the $700 frame of mind than $900 or $1000.  The issue is having a look at the rifle as there are a few things that can be "at fault" on them, hence I'd be reluctant to by without having a look or right of return

Ok, thanks all and I may be in touch with those who were interested if the final decision is to sell.
Cheers.
