This is the latest map. Some premo areas getting smacked.
If this happens in August, there will be a fair number of pregnant hinds at risk.

I didn't know how to share the maps, so here is a Google drive link.

Where did you get you map from, very different from the DOC map of the BFOB aerial, or is this a OSPRI, tbfree operation. If it is a OSPRI operation it was not consulted on in the 2018 submissions.
Pregnant hinds at risk? The whole population of deer up there are at risk especially during August, Im picking most if not almost all  will die, ask the Marlborough NZDA. They know what happens when deer are exposed to baits and there is no forest to hide the results.
Any more info Scottrods, repellant being used?

I have the same map & info, it was sent to all relevant NZDA branches from DoC in Geraldine. There's also an aerial search and destroy going to happen on pigs in the Hakatere conservation area.

Demand the use of repellent. The Sika Foundation has been successful in getting the drops in the Kaimanawa's  and Kaweka's done with repellent. It doesn't save all but it certainly reduces the by-kill considerable, down from 40%-80% to about 10%. They need to recognize they are game animals.  Go to the meetings and let your thoughts be heard. Unfortunately too many hunters sit on their hands, and don't come together as a collective group.

sweet you lot wont whinge about waro in the area for a while.

you realise the rate that 1080 gets applied now is piss all and pellets are spread out so deer actually have to hunt around and work hard to find enough to kill themselves before target speicies eat the baits. so for it to slam deer numbers as much as the antis try to BS us if the deer get a hiding its because the population in the area was to high for area to sustain them without being detrimental to the area.
