Compared to 162 Amax is the Sierra TMK harder or softer. Thinking of running the TMK in my 7rem mag for longer range.
Anyone been able to compare these two projectiles on actual game shot?
cheers

Shot a half dozen with tmk from 7 saum. So far no complaints. Not had any experience with amax on deer in this calibre. Tmk very accurate.

Why not 162 ELD-M? Similar performance to A-Max but better BC. I donít think thereís a better long range pill out there. It is longer than A-Max, so you may have to seat deeper and you may be constrained by mag space.

The TMK's seem to have better BC for weight then ELD's.  Need to try shooting acouple of each into a soft clay bank @ 300m and see what they expand like.

Just do it

Be interesting to see how their terminal performance compares. Not sure clay will give comparable results, though.
