Ive used the 110 grn hornady hpfb before...devastatingly explosive...blew holes in wallabies size and shape of 1.5ltr coke bottle...... got some barnes in same weight and they work good..... dont own chrony so cant tell you how fast they going but they are very easy on the shoulder.

I'm shooting 110gr Barnes ttsx at 3250 fps in .270. Shot 4 solid nanny tahr few weeks ago and they worked real well. Good expansion but don't blow up. Would go heavier for a winter bull but for most game around they are great.

It is much better to Hit the Animal in the right place, with a Rifle you can shoot well, then to hit it poorly with a Large Calibre..John Nosler
