Does anyone know what the go is with the Swarovski dealership in New Zealand. Tried to purchase a scope off a long time seller who was always competitively priced. They were unable to supply anymore due to NZ Ammunition no longer being the dealer.

Yes, i did notice a price reduction two weeks ago for Swaro scopes in Ballingers H&F so that may explain it?

Similar result, when Winchester Aust. took over the Steyr agency from NZ Ammunition. The retail price dropped by $400-$500 on a standard Mannlicher Pro Hunter rifle.  Smiley

Mr Clark has made a pretty penny or two from NZ punters over the years..

Glad to see some better distribution arrangements.

I am happy with a new Z3 4X12X50 with the 4a reticle for $1300.00 from my local H&F store. Getting rid of the local agent has made all the difference in pricing.

Ha ha. NO!  Grin Grin Upgrade after many years of using my old scope. Scrimped and saved and will use that on there for many years now too. Makes me sound rich though ay. Buy once cry once. You only lose money if you sell stuff and constantly change it.

Wilsons in Wanganui appear to have an excellent selection of Swarovski gear available at the new prices.
I'm currently looking at saving up for a pair of the new 10x42 EL Range/Bino's.

All the pricing dropped significantly once NZ Ammo were not involved any more.

I think a Z5, 5-25x52 scope price dropped approx. $1,000. They are only around $2,300 now.

Buy once, cry once, with a swaro scope. One of the best (brightest and clearest) low-light capable scopes I've ever looked through.

there is always plenty of time for procrastination.

I love Swaro stuff and have a Z6i and EL binos, but you will cry a second time if you drop your rifle and damage the scope. For that reason I got a Leupold VX6 for the hills instead of the Z5 I really would have liked.

Anyway, great news about the price drop. No doubt Iíll come back to Swaro after my little affair with Leupold.
