Hey guys just got a ali pontoon boat keen to go smash a few fish in the habour to start with this weekend? Any idea of a couple spots that would be worth a sniff cheers msg me if you like  Smiley Smiley Cheesy

Sorry haven't been out in Welly yet but Foxton you just head straight out to the 30m mark Smiley
I would say have a look in one of the spot X books which should give you a couple of spots to try ya hand

First thing I would get is a marine chart covering the areas you want to fish, fishing is a bit like poring over a map for deer hunting, they will show you areas worth exploring.

A big part of the enjoyment is discovering spots that hold fish.
