Good effort. Looked pretty green though. Could easily have gone a bit pear shaped.

might not be "cricket" but a well placed shot from rifle /shotgun would have made that a whole lot easier and safer....possibly having crew schooled up as to what was wanted might have helped too...

Wow! Spent two days trolling plastic last week behind the mercury.islands. very quiet.On the way in we hit a floating bloody tree..we were very lucky. Great effort

They lucky nobody got killed,shouldve played that fish out 200yds on the rod till it was stuffed then brought it in close to the boat.
Thats like wrestling a 12 pointer wild stag till he s down.

It is much better to Hit the Animal in the right place, with a Rifle you can shoot well, then to hit it poorly with a Large Calibre..John Nosler

I used to work with Aaron ( The Dad ) years ago. I never knew he was that crazy. I would have tired the fish a bit more I think.
