might not be "cricket" but a well placed shot from rifle /shotgun would have made that a whole lot easier and safer....possibly having crew schooled up as to what was wanted might have helped too... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes"whats a gaff"??? lol

Wow! Spent two days trolling plastic last week behind the mercury.islands. very quiet.On the way in we hit a floating bloody tree..we were very lucky.

They lucky nobody got killed,shouldve played that fish out 200yds on the rod till it was stuffed then brought it in close to the boat.
Thats like wrestling a 12 pointer wild stag till he s down.

I used to work with Aaron ( The Dad ) years ago. I never knew he was that crazy. I would have tired the fish a bit more I think.
