1. its a red block with a few hybrids not a "wapiti block"
2. dont get dropped on tops its a bitch to get down
3. dont get dropped at the botton its a bitch to get up
Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
4. invest in a truckload of insect repelant.

The two thumb river is probably more red deer oriented but up on the tops and the areas around three duck lake is definitely Wapiti country.

Just got to keep on chipping away!

Get dropped at 3 duck lake. From there you can access all the tops and down into the Leslie clearings.
If I was to go again I would take a blow up kyack/boat to get across the lake to get to the clearings instead of walking up over and around.
A mate shot a cracker chamois. Lots of reds with only a smattering of wap blood amongst the deer we saw.
Two thumb bay area had good roaring coming from it.
We had one tent rip in half and a torn fly sheet due to a good storm.
It rains as good as they say.
Sandflys are as bad as  they say.
Take a good set of binos.

Its the nut behind the butt, that counts.

Seen some good deer in there and there is the odd big chamois there also.

Give me a call and I will let you know what I know.
