Latititude 40 - Back Country *Video Clip*

Dan and I hit up a remote lower North Island river, for some tricky, low water browns on Wednesday. Stunning scenery, sore legs and sand-flies... it's all part of the experience on Latitude 40!

No replies yet, guess everyone is out there living their own porn!

What a beautiful river and filming to do it justice. Loved the reverb guitar track from 0:43.

Was wondering about that shot at 3:34. Looks about as smooth as a slider, did you do that with the drone?? And that eel shot at 3:46, have you got a housing for the G7X? Footage looks amazing, the water must've been very clear.

Dan flashing a bit of skin might also boost your female audience Cheesy

It's a stunner alright mate! Yep, drone, pretty much makes sliders redundant, underwater was from the iPhone7, but focus is out a bit and I was in 720 at 120fps so a bit blurry... note: don't fly a drone after your phone has been underwater... all sorts of weird shit happens inside a wet charging port!

Awesome footage Andrew-nicely cobbled together. Amazing clear water and great fish. The mavic adds another dimension to the video.
Good stuff makes you want to get out there a do it.
Well done.  Cool

Bloody hell, a waterproof phone. Seems a bit of a weird niche, how would anyone talk underwater anyway.

120 fps would be nice but I guess it has no zoom capabilities? I am having a tinker with a second hand EOS M at the moment and realising just how much there is to photography. Humbling, very humbling.

I had an eosM, pretty decent camera actually, takes nice video and pics and super-compact, but only 30fps, but kinda irrelevant with the frame blending you can do in post these days, e.g. that slomo at 6.37 is 60fps but slowed to about 30% for a 100fps equivellent!

Thanks Baz, agree, just more shit to lug into the hills, but it's pretty compact, the while thing is smaller than a lunchbox!
