Moving firearms storage location

Hi all,
I'm living in Oz and have had my firearms stored at a family members place in NZ. I recently moved my rifles to a mates gun safe.
It seems logical to me that I would need to inform the local police that I have moved my rifles but I cant find any reference to this on the Police website or in the firearms code booklet.
There is of course a need to notify if your Firearms Licence contact address changes but mine hasn't only where the firearms are stored ... any thoughts from others, cheers

if they are stored in location where licenced person resides...no issues... if they are broken down into components so CANNOT be used no issues..eg bolts/barrels in one location and breech etc in another ...no issues.
you say they are in a mates safe so as long as he has FAL no issue at all.

Does a police officer have to come out and check your safe etc. Every time you move?

You are required to notify police each time you and a vettor will do a security inspection.  Notification should be done within 30 of the move.
