Haast Roar Block 40B Drew Spur

Print Post
Hi,
I've managed to secure 40B Drew Spur for the 3rd week of the roar. I've never hunted down the South Island before so interested to get any advice or information on the block would be great. Is John Nolan still the right person to contact for permission to access the flats?
Just to note the block wasn't my first choice but all that was left for that period.
Thanks in advance
James

Are you travelling all the way from northland to hunt this block that had 1080 last year? Might be a bit lean.

Yes is the short answer. As I said wasn't my first choice, wanted Falls Creek.

Thanks for that. I've already been talking to local chopper pilots who all seem very helpful.
