hydro 3.3 m jet boat

Hi has anybody had a boat build by hydro in alexandra ? if so can you let me know about it please, thinking of getting a 3.3 made up by these guys and putting a 701 yamaha jetski motor (80hp) in it. cheers

Travelled a few rivers next to one last year, bloody noisey bastard of a thing. Seemed well built tho.

I reckon that would be underpowered. Might be ok with 1 person but it would struggle with any load on. Last time I looked I think the Hydo boats only used a 6mm bottom. For a river boat you want at least a 10mm delta IMO. They look well built and nicely finished though
