This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine.  Without my rifle I am useless, without me it is useless.

Bravo to those rangers - would have been a pretty uncomfortable situation - who knows what someone that arrogant might do.

The mai mai in the picture was a file photo and not where the incident took place .... The ranger was one of the countries most experienced and made an informed decision that a safe entry could be made with the hunters in full view.

Dont think it would have been worth the hassle and putting yourself in danger. Ring the cops for safety reasons.

There are not many times in this life when you see such a complete and perfect f**k up like this one.  The funny part is even though he had a unlicensed gun, a crime that logically should see jail time, and he admitted to 40 years of unlicensed hunting (and presumably 40 years of firearms crime) the thing he was most worried about was his opening morning being ruined.

Good on the rangers. We don't need a clown like that illegally shooting game.. He deserves to have the book thrown at him as an example to others that think they can act that way.

Here are the hilarious conclusion to the poaching charges (wet bus ticket).  The firearms charges are still outstanding:
