Water looks cold but so does all of Alaska, even in summer.  Ii think it's the name.

What a great story of a major event. Shit yes, 6,000 volts would sort a night pee'er or a bear!  Take the advice of an 80yr old, keep doing these things, it gradually gets harder. Thank you for the post.

Great trip,not many people raft (push)up river for miles.Bloody good effort and yr BBQ meat looked tasty.                                                             Never seen a bear fence befor,guess it would give you time
to get yr pistal out on defence. Wink
  

Shot a few deer,caugth some big trout and salmon
