Do other people take dogs in there?
If so just do what they do.

Reading that link it sounds like having dogs in the block isn't a problem, it's getting dogs into the block that is - no dogs allowed through two of the access routes.

Dogs are allowed but access not?

Too much poaching aroung the boundry and onto High Peaks Station might be a reason.

The neighboring land owners aren't that fond of poachers so make sure you keep track of your dogs.  Also given it's beach forest be prepared for wasps.

Been couple times on Eastern (Benmore) side during the winter, lots of pig sign. Some good sized prints (to my limited knowledge) and once also seen a few piglet prints so they are around! But at places where boundary is non-existent as there is no fences between DOC land and farm. Be careful there as farmer is fed up with trespassers and poachers! Can't really blame him though...  Undecided
