Prefer my suppressed 204 which has a 4-12x40 Bushnell if not then I reach for my Ruger 10/22 also suppressed and that has a 3-9x40 Bushnell

A Winchester single shot when I was a kid, then a .22 BRNO followed by a second one when my youngster was born.
Put scopes on both of them around ten years ago.

No rabbits on Stewart Is. But possums and wild cats gets it with the BRNO mod 1.

+1 - these wee guns are a hidden gem. Nicely made and balanced, accurate. And you can get them very cheap, because they aren't so well known.

Yeah you can often pick up a rifle for around $250 but a magazine will cost around $100 and spare parts are rare as hens teeth  Sad

The Voere (actually pronounced "Fooo-ruh") is a very close copy of a particular basic Anschutz. Sold the one I got aged 16 a while ago- good gun but the two stage non-adjustable trigger wasn't Anschutz standard. You couldn't reduce the first stage or lighten it up much without the risk of the bolt coming out during fast reloading.

It's not an option on the poll by AR15.

It's like a grownup 10/22.

This is my rifle, there are many like it but this one is mine.  Without my rifle I am useless, without me it is useless.
